Tenants Take Action!

This past weekend, members of VTAG joined in solidarity with dozens of James Bay renters. They volunteered their time to assist tenants with the first steps of their claims against their landlord.


It's amazing that these tenants have come together and are organizing for their rights. Alongside tenants rallying, we want to see the Residential Tenancy Branch take a more proactive role in addressing large-scale tenancy matters. We also think that more accountability needs to be placed on landlords to mitigate the impacts of renovations on tenants from the outset.
